Most candidates take Level 1 and Level 2 together to qualify for the Smog Check Inspector exam. The bundle saves $290 versus enrolling separately.
For technicians with 2+ years engine-performance experience pursuing Smog Check Repair Technician licensure via the ASE alternative pathway, plus the two-year renewal that keeps that license active.
Citation training hours are set by the conditions of the citation issued by the Bureau, so tuition is banded by the number of hours you're required to complete. Minimum 8 hours.
